Just TRY week is back!
Just TRY week will take place between 27 January - 2 February.
Look below to find the full timetable for the week! This is a great way to get involved with our sport club programme for FREE before purchasing your sport club memberships. We have a number of clubs for you to try out. No booking is required, simply turn up and play. We have availability in the following sports: Futsal (Men's), Jitsu, Judo, MMA, Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting and Taekwondo). Find out more here
We have a range of opportunities to take part in sport, whether you want to meet new people, try a new sport, or compete in a sport you have always loved.
Our 35 Student Sport Clubs offer students the opportunity to take part at a range of levels of sport participation, from non-competitive sport to competitive BUCS teams.
We offer the following membership types across our clubs:
"Just PLAY"
Low committment, bookable sessions week-by-week, that are free of charge with no competitive element.
"TRAIN"
Regular coached sessions with a focus on individual improvement and some self-funded competitive opportunities. Ideal for anyone who does not want to commit to weekly BUCS fixtures. A one off annual membership fee, with some self-funded competitive opportunities.
"COMPETE"
Regular coached sessions with a focus on performance as well as weekly BUCS fixtures. Suitable for anyone who enjoys competition against other university teams and wants to improve their performance. A one off annual fee.
"PERFORM"
This program makes up our Focus Sport and Scholarship offering. It includes high quality coaching, support services, fixtures and a high volume of committment. "INTRAMURAL" Football Leagues
Regular league fixtures in a competitive but social environment, facilitated by our fully qualified referees and campus league interns. This program is suitable for anyone who is interested in competing alongside their friends but without the element of regular training.
