The Ultimate Frisbee club at Northumbria are a friendly and welcoming club. The sport itself is a fun, fast-paced and competitive sport with one team competing in the BUCS Outdoor Ultimate leagues and an additional setup for casual/local team match play. The team train at Sport Central and play all their fixtures out at Coach Lane on the 3G or grass pitches with sessions often mixed gender.  

On top of all the fun you will have on the pitch, you will enjoy a variety of social events organised by the club making it the perfect opportunity to play the sport you love while having a great time and making new friends.

This programme is aimed at students who are interested in playing the sport occasionally without any commitment or trying the sport for the first time. The fun and engaging sessions are completely free to book on to, on a weekly basis, as a first come first served, via our app. There will be 30 spaces available in each of the sessions each week.

Students interested in regular, coached Ultimate activity should join the TRAIN membership.

 

"TRAIN"   £125  - Please note membership is reduced to £100 from 13th November, as Ultimate is taking part with Just TRY Week. The Open Just TRY session is Sunday 17th November 14:30-16:00 in Upper Hall.

Indoor training: Tuesdays 18:00-19:30  & Sundays 14:30-16:00  (Sport Central)

Outdoor training: Fridays 20:30-22:00 (Coach Lane ATP - astro boots required)

This membership offers regular coached sessions for students interested in gaining Ultimate skills, as well as entry in to BUCS for 1x Outdoor team. Other competitions, including BUCS Indoor are available but will be self-funded by those interested in taking part.
