Northumbria Gymnastics welcome individuals of all abilities to join the club whether you have never tried gymnastics before, are starting up again at university, or still currently compete.
We have weekly training sessions with qualified coaches which are fully tailored to what you want to learn. As well as self-funded opportunities to take part in competitions, such as BUCS, UGC, and everyone’s favourite, varsity against our local rivals Newcastle!
We have a great community atmosphere and offer a variety of social activities. These range from sober and drinking socials to bigger events like charity fundraising with other clubs.
No matter what your level is, we always welcome people to give it a go so come and join the club to have fun and make lasting friendships!

TRAIN Gymnastics - £175 per person
All training takes place at City of Newcastle Gymnastics Academy in Benfield.
Group 1 - Tuesdays 20:30-22:00
Group 2 - Wednesdays 12:30-14:00
Students enquiring about joining the club in 2026/27 season can contact the Club Committee via email or instagram.
2026/27 memberships will be available to purchase following attendance at the Taster and Squad Selection events during Big Week of Sport in September. Visit the Gymnastics stall at our Sports Fair on Wednesday 23rd September (taking place in Sport Central) to meet the committee and find out more information.
