Lacrosse is an exciting and high-energy sport. One that you may, or may not, be familiar with.
Northumbria Lacrosse boasts 1 Men's team and 3 Women’s teams, all training thrice a week. Our club welcomes players of all abilities, boasting a cheerful, diverse, and driven environment.
Our Women’s teams offer a range of levels to train at:
- Our 1st team is a highly competitive team in the Northern Women’s Tier 2 League, ranking 3rd this previous season.
- Our 2nd team offers learning and development for both new and returning competition players in the Northern Women’s Tier 3B League.
- Our social team offers a friendly environment to learn lacrosse without partaking in BUCS matches.
Our Men’s team competes at a high level, having won the 25/26 Northern Conference Cup and playing in the Men’s Northern Tier 2 league.
Outside of training, we offer socials every Wednesday night as well as more calm, low-energy ones every month. There is always a chance to get involved with something new and meet new people at Northumbria lacrosse.
From learning a brand-new sport to training as a referee, or even a student coach, there is a place for you in our club!
