Northumbria Table Tennis encourages players of all abilities to come and join our friendly club and make lasting friendships!
Table Tennis is very welcoming with a desire to support all club members. Whether you want to play for fun with our TRAIN (Social) membership or competitively with our BUCS COMPETE memberships. As a club, we have 4 teams entered in to BUCS for 2026/27, with 2x Men's teams and 2x Women's teams, with travel provided for away fixtures.
There is something for everyone as you’ll also enjoy a wide variety of weekly social events organised by the club committee. This makes it a great opportunity to play the sport you love and make lots of new friends.

Table Tennis club memberships available in 2026/27:
COMPETE Table Tennis M1 & M2 - £150 per person
Training times:
Mondays 19:30-21:00 - Sport Central Studio
Fridays 19:30-21:00 - Sport Central Studio
Includes BUCS team entry - fixtures typically take place on Wednesdays
COMPETE Table Tennis W1 & W2 - £90 per person
Training times:
Tuesdays 19:30-21:30 - Sport Central Studio
Wednesdays 11:15-12:15 - Upper Hall (when no fixtures)
Includes BUCS team entry - fixtures typically take place on Wednesdays
TRAIN Table Tennis (Beginner/Social) - £60 per person
Training times:
Tuesdays 19:30-20:30 - Sport Central Studio
Wednesdays 11:15-12:15 - Upper Hall
Students enquiring about joining the club in 2026/27 season can contact the Club Committee via email or instagram.
2026/27 memberships will be available to purchase following attendance at the Taster and Squad Selection events during Big Week of Sport in September. Visit the Table Tennis stall at our Sports Fair on Wednesday 23rd September (taking place in Sport Central) to meet the committee and find out more information.
