Gaelic football is a sport that originated in Ireland and is now played as an amateur sport across the world.There are many options to get involved with us! Whether it be playing competitively or just coming along for the fun, their is room for everyone no matter your ability. No previous experience is needed as all skills will be taught during training sessions. On top of the fun of competing and training, you can enjoy a variety of social events organised by our social committee.

Students enquiring about joining the club can contact the Club Committee via email or instagram. Equipment can be provided by the club for new students where required.

Club memberships will only be available to purchase following Big Week of Sport in September. Speak to the club at Sports Fair on 23rd September for more information or email them as below.


Club memberships available:

TRAIN Gaelic Football - £75 per person 

(Non-student memberships can be made available for £100pp through application)

Capacity - 50 members

Training times:

  • Thursdays 17:00-18:00 (Coach Lane 3G)
  • Saturdays 10:00-12:00 (Coach Lane 3G) - please note some Saturday sessions are unavailable due to external events

 

Students enquiring about joining the club in 2026/27 season can contact the Club Committee via email or instagram. 

2026/27 memberships will be available to purchase following attendance at the Taster and Squad Selection events during Big Week of Sport in September. Visit the Gaelic Football stall at our Sports Fair on Wednesday 23rd September (taking place in Sport Central) to meet the committee and find out more information.
