Northumbria’s Volleyball club has a rich list of successful history from BUCS & National League & Cup Championship titles!

The club consists of 2x Men’s & 2x Women’s teams who compete in weekly fixtures in BUCS. The level of play is competitive with the Men & Women’s 1st teams sitting in the highest leagues within BUCS.

Despite the level of competition, the club are very friendly and welcoming and always keen to take on new members whether you have played the sport before or not. The club have members from all over the world so it is great to meet lots of interesting people creating long lasting friendships. Based out of Sport Central, the club have access to coached sessions throughout the week including S&C. The sessions vary from fitness and ball work to scrimmages.

On top of all the fun you will have on and off the court, you will enjoy a variety of social events organised by the club making it the perfect opportunity to play the sport you love while having a great time and making new friends.

2025/26 memberships will only be available to purchase via an online link shared following the squad selection event during Big Week of Sport (BWOS) which is running from 25^th September – 5^th October 2025. The time slots for the Volleyball Squad Selections during BWOS are as follows:

Tuesday 30th September 16:30-18:30 Sport Central- Mens Squad Selection

Tuesday 30th September 18:30-20:00 Sport Central- Womens Squad Selection

Friday 3rd October 18:30-20:00 Sport Central- Womens Squad Selection

Friday 3rd October 20:00-21:45 Sport Central- Mens Squad Selection

All club memberships must be purchased no later than Monday 6th October.
