The team row out of Tyne Amateur Rowing Club in Newburn, approximately 30 minute bus ride or 15 minute drive. We have a lot of fun along the way working and playing hard.

We have thriving novice and intermediate squads who compete accross the UK, all year round, as well as a recreational squad for those who enjoy non competitive rowing. Our social calender provides a chance for all the club members to get to know eac hother off the water.

Our vision is to provide Northumbria University students with an inclusive rowing club that is supportive of all skills and abilities which fosters physical fitness, mental resillience and social well-being. We are fully inclusive, we welcome those who have not had the oppertunitiy to try the sport. We value and support; active rowing competition, promotion of the sport and competitive performance of our club members; broad based memberships and participation in the sport at all levels and ability. Our aim is to have fun, be super fit, be a great team and win medals.
