The Cricket club welcomes all new players to their club and boast a sociable and inclusive environment whether you are a cricket pro or complete beginner!
The club have a range of memberships available, with experienced players encouraged to join the COMPETE membership (which boasts Indoor training at the exceptional facility of South Northumberland Club). COMPETE members are eligible to compete in the BUCS Indoor Squad. Beginner and intermediate players can join the TRAIN membership who have regular coached net sessions at Coach Lane during the first two semesters.
From April, students can purchase Outdoor Cricket membership, which enables them to participate in BUCS Outdoor fixtures. With the club entering 3x Men's teams and 1x Women's team in to BUCS this year, there are plenty of opportunities to play!
The Cricket Club Committee aim to bring students involved in all types of cricket membership together for a variety of social events organised by the club during the year, making it the perfect opportunity to play the sport you love while having a great time and making new friends.

Cricket memberships on offer in 2026/27:
COMPETE Cricket Men (Competitive Squads) - £295pp
This membership includes access to 1x BUCS Men's Indoor Team, and access to compete in one of 2x BUCS Men's Outdoor teams in the Summer.
Regular Indoor Training takes place at South North Cricket Club on Wednesdays (18 weeks), and additional nets are available on Sundays (alternating weekly either South North or Coach Lane).
TRAIN Cricket Men (Development Squads) - £160pp
This membership includes access to indoor net sessions on Sundays (alternating weekly either at South North or Coach Lane)
This membership includes access to compete in one of 2x BUCS Men's Outdoor teams in the Summer.
COMPETE Cricket Women Indoor membership (Semester 1) - £90pp
This membership includes access to 1x BUCS Women's Indoor Team and training at Coach Lane.

COMPETE Cricket Women Outdoor membership (Semester 2) - £100pp*
This membership includes access to 1x BUCS Women's Outdoor Team and training at South Northumberland Club.
*Women's Outdoor (Semester 2) memberships will only be available to purchase from December.
COMPETE Cricket Outdoors (BUCS Outdoor fixtures only) - £75pp**
This membership includes access to compete in one of 4x BUCS Men's Outdoor teams or 1x BUCS Women's Outdoor team in the Summer.
**This stand alone membership is only available from March 2027.
