Northumbria’s Volleyball club has a rich list of successful history from BUCS & National League & Cup Championship titles!
The club consists of 2x Men’s & 2x Women’s teams who compete in weekly fixtures in BUCS. The level of play is competitive with the Men & Women’s 1st teams sitting in the highest leagues within BUCS. Both the Men & Women’s 1st teams also compete in the Volleyball England National Cup competition giving you the opportunity to compete against other teams outside of universities plus travel the UK.
Despite the level of competition, the club are very friendly and welcoming and always keen to take on new members whether you have played the sport before or not. The club have members from all over the world so it is great to meet lots of interesting people creating long lasting friendships. Based out of Sport Central, the club have access to coached sessions throughout the week including S&C. The sessions vary from fitness and ball work to scrimmages.
On top of all the fun you will have on and off the court, you will enjoy a variety of social events organised by the club making it the perfect opportunity to play the sport you love while having a great time and making new friends.

Training Times & Venues
All Volleyball training takes place within Sport Central in the main arena and S&C suite where required. We are still working hard to confirm training venues and times for the 2020-21 season so keep checking back and we will update this information in due course.
