Northumbria Sport Volunteering and Internships programme is a nationally Award-Winning Programme that offers you fantastic opportunities to work with industry professionals and gain valuable experience and employability skills. We offer opportunities working within our Northumbria Sport programmes, National Governing Bodies, external organisations, in the local community, and even internationally through the Volunteer Zambia Project!

As a volunteer or intern, you will work with a mentor to support and guide you through your journey. 

All volunteers and interns receive free sport kit, free training to ensure you are safe to practice in your role, and access to our Development Bursary, which offers you up to £300 towards additional qualifications and training opportunities to help you stand out.
