Northumbria Athletics Club is a friendly and inclusive club that caters to athletes of all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced competitors. The club provides opportunities to train and compete across a range of different disciplines, including sprints, middle- and long-distance running, jumps, throws, hurdles and cross country.

Members will benefit from structured training sessions, weekly socials and the chance to represent Northumbria University in competitions throughout the year. Alongside competition, the club places a strong emphasis on enjoyment and a supportive team environment.

For those wanting to compete at a higher level, members have the opportunity to attend BUCS Indoors, BUCS Outdoors and BUCS Cross Country, as well as other university competitions throughout the year. These competitions are the perfect opportunity to set PBs whilst making memories to last a lifetime!

Whether you are looking to compete at a high level, improve your fitness or simply be part of a welcoming sporting community, Northumbria Athletics Club offers a memorable and rewarding university experience.

We frequently post about competitions, achievements and socials on our Instagram @northumbriaathletics, so check that out to get a better insight into our club!
