Northumbria Swimmers Reign in Rio

The latest results are in!

Last night…

TAKA SUZUKI came 4th in the Mens SM4 150IM in a new lifetime best and a new Japanese Record!!  A great way to prepare for his main event tomorrow.

ANDREW MULLEN finished 5th in the Mens S5 50m Freestyle in a time of 34.87, just 0.4secs off the medals in a blanket finish!  It was another personal best performance from Andrew and he is continuing his great run of form..  His last 2 swims are on the last 2 days of the competition so he will have a well earned rest now until Friday.

Day 6 is another rest day for all of the TN contingent.. so I’ll look forward to updating you again on Thursday after Claire and Taka compete in their main events.
