Team Northumbria will entertain Manchester Mystics on the opening weekend of WBBL action as Chris Bunten’s side look to bounce back from an injury-ravaged season.
The first derby of the 2017-18 campaign takes place on October 29 as Sport Central plays host to the Durham Palatinates in the WBBL Cup.
And the two teams lock horns in the league in January on back-to-back weekends - TN away on January 7 before hosting the expansion franchise on January 14.
Bunten’s side face a tough trip to fierce rivals Sheffield Hatters on the second weekend of the league season.
But hopes are high that a core of returning favourites and a slew of exciting new signings can fire TN to top four success and a run on the playoffs.
Bunten has already confirmed four new frontline players for the new season and looks set to announce more additions to a rapidly changing roster later this month.
