Basketball celebrated four wins out of five with W2’s 81-60 home win against Durham University an obvious highlight.
Finally, W1 Hockey faced derby rivals Newcastle. Newcastle sit above Northumbria in Premier B but the underdogs pulled off a sensational 3-2 win.
Northumbria University now sit ninth in the BUCS table with 1367 points, still in front of Newcastle who are two places away in 11th.
