Northumbria University’s fierce rivalry with cross-city rivals Newcastle dominated the BUCS landscape in Week Seven.
And for every Newcastle win there were three Northumbria victories!
An impressive 75% win rate included convincing away triumphs for W2 and W3 Netball as our derby foes endured a day to forget.
Rugby League brought home maximum points as M3 picked up a walkover win, M2 defeated Liverpool 38-16 and M1 thumped hapless Nottingham 58-0.
In-form Badminton were undefeated as a sparkling start to the season just gets better.
W1 brought in the first win for the club as they beat Leeds W2 8-0 under the expert guidance of Beth Grundy.
Inspired by our W1 win, M1 beat Manchester 6-2 on the road and M2 held Newcastle to a thrilling 4-4 draw.
