Get involved in Just TRY Week

Fancy joining one of our Sport Clubs in 2025? You’re in luck, as we’re running Just TRY Week where you can try out some of our sport clubs for free from 27 January - 2 February.

Whether you’re new to Northumbria or you didn’t get involved last semester, get involved in Just TRY Week this January.

It’s a great way to try our sport club programme for FREE before purchasing your sport club memberships. If you're keen to join one of the clubs after your taster session, memberships are 50% off.

We have a number of clubs for you to try out. No booking is required, simply turn up and play. Check out the timetable below: 

 

Monday 27 January:

Jitsu: 18:30 - 20:00 (Lipman Gym) 

 

Tuesday 28 January

Ultimate: 18:00 - 19:30 (Sport Central, Upper Hall)

Men's Futsal; 20:15 - 21:45 (Sport Central, Centre Court) 

 

Wednesday 29 January: 

Karate 17:00 - 18:30 (Lipman Gym)

Judo: 18:30 - 20:00 (Lipman Gym) 

 

Friday 31 January

Powerlifting: 20:00 - 22:00 (Sport Central, Strength & Conditioning Room)

MMA Group 2: 17:30 - 19:30 (Lipman Gym) 

 

Saturday 1 February

Jitsu: 10:00 - 12:00 (Lipman Gym) 

 

Sunday 2 February

Olympic Weightlifting: 10:30 - 11:30 (Sport Central, Strength & Conditioning Room)

Taekwondo: 15:30 - 17:00 (Lipman Gym)
