Physiotherapists: (Rugby Union)

Northumbria University is a major player in the British Universities & Colleges Sport leagues, the premier sporting competition for students across the UK. We are recruiting experienced match day physiotherapists with a passion for sport to be part of our team.

We are recruiting three physiotherapists who will provide match day preparation, acute injury assessments, medical management, and emergency pitch side trauma care for our Men’s Rugby Union, Women’s Rugby Union, and Men’s Rugby League 1st teams.

The successful candidates will cover both home and away fixtures and must have a flexible approach to working evenings and a willingness to travel to away fixtures. The role is seasonal with most BUCS fixtures taking place on a Wednesday afternoon or evening from September to April.

Rugby Union (Mens) Job Description


Sports Performance Analysis: 

Northumbria University is a major player in the British Universities & Colleges Sport leagues, the premier sporting competition for students across the UK. We offer a range of multi-disciplinary support services to help our student athletes develop within their sport whilst gaining a degree.

We are recruiting a Performance Analysis Coordinator who will oversee the delivery of all performance analysis support offered to our Focus Sports. The successful candidates will support a team of interns to film and analysis BUCS fixture and training footage to be used by coaches and student athletes as a development tool.

The role is seasonal with most BUCS fixtures taking place on a Wednesday afternoon or evening from September to April.
