‘Teamwork in Sport’ is the main focus of this year's campaign and it will aim to inform individuals of the importance of having a strong team around you to help you succeed.
At Northumbria University, we support the mission of UK Anti-Doping and WADA in achieving Clean Sport. Whether this comes from the student-athletes themselves, or from the coaching staff and personnel at the university, the mission still stands the same and is maintained within the spirit of clean sport.
Across the week there will be plenty of activities to get involved in, including the ‘Teamwork in Clean Sport webinar’ whereby an expert panel will be exploring clean sport topics, providing tips and advice on being a team player and working & supporting athletes. It will be hosted by Olympic canoeist and BBC commentator, Helen Reeves, with a specialist panel alongside her to contribute to the discussion.
To help you navigate your knowledge on Clean Sport we have created some information guides to help give you some more information on the topic. From a guide to testing to information on supplements, these resources provide information about the topic. Links to useful websites and other resources will also be included.
