BUCS Super Rugby back in action at Kingston Park

Men’s Rugby Union 1st XV return to Kingston Park this Friday for their BUCS Super Rugby fixture live not only in front of the Northumbria ‘KP faithful’ but the cameras for the BUCS live stream coverage.

Northumbria’s Men have had a tough run of results this season, but the squad is building and Head of Rugby, Jon Benson is excited for the challenge:

“I’m really looking forward to this fixture. We’ve got 4 or 5 senior players back from injury which will really strengthen our squad”

Opponents Hartpury sit in 5th position in the BUCS Super Rugby League and will be looking to make a quick return to winning form after a home loss to second in the table Exeter.

Benson added:

“We know it will be a competitive and physical game with Hartpury. The game plan is to focus on ourselves and go out to attack the game head on”

Benson’s Men KO at 19:30 Friday 4 February and the added element of the BUCS cameras will only add to the atmosphere at the game.

“We’ve had a great week of preparation including some match play with the Falcons U18’s so the team is ready for this one. Games at KP with our supporters are always special and having the bonus that supporters can tune in to the live stream will raise the teams game even more”

Join us at Kingston Park. Friday 4 February.
