Kerry-Anne Hastings has been named as the new Student Sport President ahead of the 2017/18 academic year.
The Scotland Under 21 international hockey player succeeds Emily Watkinson in the role.
Hastings graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Applied Sport Science with Coaching and has been heavily involved within the Northumbria Sport family during her three years at the University.
Hastings was the President of Team Northumbria Women's Hockey Club, a Team Northumbria intern, a member of the student management group and a keen fundraiser for the Northumbria Sport Foundation.
She said: “I hope to continue and build on the fantastic work Emily Watkinson achieved this year.”
