HIKE COLEDALE HORSESHOE

One of the Lake District's most iconic and challenging horseshoe walks located in a surprisingly quieter corner of the busy Lake District National Park, making this walk an ideal way to end a hectic opening few weeks of University. A large part of the walk is ridge walking and at high altitude so the views are awesome. Other than the easy scramble up Grisedale Pike at the start, there is nothing too technical. A walking distance of 10miles still makes this a worthy challenge though.

Leave Northumbria University via minibus @ 07:30
Start hiking @ 10:00
Finish hike @ approx 17:00
Arrive back to Northumbria University @ approx 19:00
