British Wheelchair Basketball

Northumbria Sport works in close partnership with British Wheelchair Basketball and has recently become a Regional Centre for the sport. Our North Clubs programme is facilitated by two Higher Education Wheelchair Basketball Officers, funded by British Wheelchair Basketball. Through this support, North Clubs were able to enter our first British Universities Championships last year and hosted an Inclusive Basketball Zone, inviting all the SEN schools in the region for taster sessions.
