The Northumbria University basketball programme work closely with the Newcastle Eagles BBL and WBBL teams, developing students to give them opportunity to progress into the professional game.
The women were crowned 2019 BUCS National Champions and 2020 BUCS league winners.
Players benefit from a programme that rivals a professional team, with daily training including individual and team based court sessions, as well as strength & conditioning, performance analysis and more.
Our womens programme is led by Newcastle WBBL Eagles Player Chloe Gaynor. Chloe has represented England at both U18 and U20 level, and has played in the European Championships.
