Our FREE Social Sport programme is a great way to meet new people and have some fun! It offers the opportunity to try a new sport or activity such as Ultimate or Teqball without the commitment of buying a club or fitness membership, you can just turn up and play!

HOUSEHOLD SPORT 

Household Sport is specifically designed for students living under one roof! It gives students living in one household the oppourtunity to enjoy their favourite indoor sport together. 

Why not gather your flat mates and book a slot to take part in one of 7 activities for FREE including: 

Basketball: Come and shoot some hoops in our fun and relaxed basketball session. From 3v3 to shooting competitions there is something for you to get involved in!

Cricket: Frustrated by missing half of the cricket season? This stripped back version of the game will allow you to practice your skills and enjoy small sided games.

Dodgeball: Dodge, dip, duck and dive your way in to our social dodgeball sessions!

Table Tennis:Get your ping pong on with our social table tennis sessions. From round robins to rally’s, this is a great way to have fun and learn some new techniques!

Teqball: Love football? Why not try Teqball! Combining football and table tennis this new sport offers participants the opportunity to test their first touch and technique against their opponent.

Netball:This fun and active session is for everyone and will allow you to learn the basic skills whilst having fun. Ran by our friendly University Netball Officer these fun and active sessions are open to all abilities.

Badminton: Pick up a racket and enjoy a range of badminton-based games and a combination of single and doubles matches in a relaxed environment for all abilities.

All our activities are planned in line with current Government, NGB and University guidance and the ‘rule of 6’ applies to all of our indoor activities.

Strava Running Community: 

Enjoy running? Never ran before? Don't worry our Strava running group is open to all ablities and is a great way for students to be part of a community whilst keeping active. 

Look out for different challenges uploaded every Wednesday and Saturday. Students are also encouraged to upload their own runs and support other students by giving them kudos.
