The Cricket club welcomes all new players to their club and boast a sociable and inclusive environment whether you are a cricket pro or complete beginner!
The club have a range of memberships available, with experienced players encouraged to join the COMPETE membership (which boasts Indoor training at the exceptional facility of South Northumberland Club). COMPETE members are eligible to compete in the BUCS Indoor Squad. Beginner and intermediate players can join the TRAIN membership who have regular coached net sessions at Coach Lane during the first two semesters.
From April, students can purchase Outdoor Cricket membership, which enables them to participate in BUCS Outdoor fixtures. With the club entering 3x Men's teams and 1x Women's team in to BUCS this year, there are plenty of opportunities to play!
The Cricket Club Committee aim to bring students involved in all types of cricket membership together for a variety of social events organised by the club during the year, making it the perfect opportunity to play the sport you love while having a great time and making new friends.
Available Cricket memberships in 2023/24:
"COMPETE" Indoor Membership - £200 *Memberships will be reduced to £100 for semester 2* (Available from January 2024)
This membership offers regular coached sessions at South Northumberland Club and includes the opportunity to take part in BUCS Indoor fixtures. COMPETE memberships can only be purchased following successful squad selection during our Big Week of Sport.
Train on Wednesdays from 12:00-15:00
"TRAIN" Indoor Memberships - £75 *Memberships will be reduced to £37.50 for semester 2* (Available from January 2024)
This membership offers regular coached sessions indoors at Coach Lane Sports Hall.
Train on Sundays 15:00 - 17:00
"COMPETE" Outdoor Membership - £75 (BUCS M1 M2 M3 & W1)
Indoor net sessions are available to take part in on Tuesday evenings - check with the Club President for timings.
Fixtures begin on 24th April and the season concludes in June.

"Just PLAY" This programme is aimed at students who are interested in playing the sport without any commitment. The fun and engaging sessions are completely free to book on to, on a weekly basis, as a first come first served, via our app. All Just Play sessions take place at Coach Lane Sports Hall.
"INTRAMURAL" Kwik Cricket - £10 per semester

Please note that the Indoor Cricket memberships run through semester 1 and semester 2.
The Outdoor memberships begin from April 2024 and continue through the BUCS Outdoor season dates only (usually April - June).
